About Me
The Woman Behind Gracefully Unfolding
Hey bestie 💕 I’m so glad you’re here.
You don’t know me yet, but you will. For now… just call me K — yeah, like Pretty Little Liars 👀 but softer, realer, and with a heart that’s healing out loud.
I’m 27 years old, a Black woman, a fighter, a feeler, and a woman learning how to breathe again through the heaviness. I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer at 25. I went into remission then had to face a second round of chemo. Life’s been… a lot. But I’m still here. And so are you.
I created Gracefully Unfolding because I needed a space not just to survive, but to release and restore. I live with major depressive disorder, anxiety, and ptsd which makes being seen feel overwhelming sometimes. But here? This blog? It’s my freedom.
And my hope? Is that it becomes yours too.
Whether you’re navigating grief, love, healing, faith, or just figuring life out day by day you’re not alone here.
This isn’t just a blog, it’s a soft landing for the days when everything feels too heavy. A space to cry, laugh, scream, grow, pray, rest, and reflect.
We’ll talk about:
- 🧠 Mental health and how real the struggle is
- 💗 Self-love and learning to choose yourself again and again
- 🔁 Healing in all its messy, beautiful layers
- ✨ Life updates on my health, journey, and everything in between
You don’t have to have it all figured out to belong here. You just have to show up broken, tired, joyful, numb, hopeful whatever you’re feeling, come as you are.
We’re not rushing healing over here.
We’re unfolding — gracefully.
So welcome, bestie. You’re safe here.
— K
